About project
What started as a spontaneous internal project turned into a rethink of how chocolate is perceived.
Instead of positioning it as premium, serious, or restrained, Koka brings it back to what it has always been a feeling of comfort, craving, and everyday joy. The brand is designed to feel instinctive, familiar, and unfiltered.
Design Approach
The name Koka is derived from cocoa, simplified to feel more immediate and playful. It avoids the formality often associated with chocolate branding and instead feels light and intuitive.
The visual language draws from Indian maximalism bold colors, layered energy, and a sense of visual abundance. A poppy color palette creates strong shelf presence and instant recall, making the brand feel expressive and alive. Instead of minimal restraint, the system embraces vibrancy and contrast to reflect how indulgence actually feels.
Every element is designed to evoke craving before consumption making the experience emotional even before the first bite.
